Radcliffe return to league action after wins in both the Lancashire Challenge and FA Trophies. In the last five league matches, Radcliffe have won two, drawn two and lost once, with a goal difference of 0 across those five matches, the highlights being back-to-back victories over Leamington and the Rushall Olympic.

A win could see Radcliffe move as high as 18th in the table, whilst a defeat could see the Boro fall as low as 23rd come the final whistle on Saturday.

The Opposition

Last season, Kidderminster were relegated after just one season in the National League as Phil Brown’s side finished 22nd, seven points from safety. The Harriers’ return to the top level of non-league football was not as successful as their previous spell, when they finished just outside the play-offs on three occasions before coming up short against Wrexham in the 2012/13 play-off final.

Kidderminster boss Phil Brown has been in charge since the 10th of January 2024, as he replaced outgoing manager Russ Penn. At the time of joining, the Harriers were rock bottom of the table with just 20 points and despite seven wins and five draws from their final 18 games, it was not enough to stay safe.

Currently, Saturday’s opposition are fourth in the table with a game in hand on the sides in second through fourth, meaning a win can move them up to second. Kidderminster Harriers are on an impressive run of form that sees them come to the Neuven Stadium with just one defeat in their last 11 games, that being a 4-0 defeat away at King’s Lynn, the only blemish on their record since late October.

Ones To Watch

Ashley Hemmings has seven goals this season including one against Radcliffe earlier in the campaign. He’s been a member of the squad since 2019 and has been involved in almost 100 goals in a little over 200 appearances. Having put in notable performances in every competition the Harriers have competed in, the visitors’ number 10 will be a threat on Saturday.

Christian Dibble has kept ten clean sheets so far this season, one of only three goalkeepers in the division to have a clean sheet percentage of over 50%. After playing a key role in their promotion from the National League North and keeping 15 clean sheets in the National League, Kidderminster Harriers’ main shot-stopper is a key member of their defence.

Last Time Out

Radcliffe’s first away match of the campaign was a trip to Kidderminster Harriers, where the hosts came away 3-0 winners with all three goals coming in a five-minute burst shortly after half-time.

In a period that can only be described as bizzare, Zak Brown, Max Kouhyar and Ashley Hemmings all found the back of the Boro net, effectively ending the game.

Radcliffe had played well and were in the game for the other 80 minutes, but were just unable to find the back of the net on the day.
