Radcliffe FC are pleased to announce the signing of Hyde United captain Brad Roscoe, who pens a one-year deal with an option at the Neuven Stadium.

The 26-year-old joins the Boro following his departure from Hyde after being club captain with the Tameside outfit for the last two years, initially joining in 2019. Described as a towering centre back, Roscoe began his career at Preston North End, before joining Fleetwood Town where he endured a loan spell at Fylde, later joining Buxton on a permanent basis.

Brad spoke to the media after penning his contract, explaining his happiness about signing for the club.

Roscoe, said: ‘I’m absolutely delighted to be signing for Radcliffe. I’ve played against the club a lot over recent seasons and have seen the progress the clubs making each year, on and off the pitch. Seeing the appointment of Bernard & Jonno last season and watching them comfortably win the league made it even more of an exciting club to join.

After hearing about their interest in me, meeting up with the gaffers and talking about the future ambitions of the club, it was a no brainer for me to sign. There’s already a squad full of quality so hopefully I can add to that and help the club push for a successful season in the National League North.’

Welcome to the Neuven Stadium, Brad!
