Chairman Billy Quarmby commented: ‘I am delighted to announce an exciting new chapter in the development of Radcliffe FC with the launch of our Academy Scholarship, in partnership with The Football Learning Group. This initiative represents a significant step forward in our commitment to nurturing young talent and providing a clear pathway for aspiring footballers to reach their full potential.
By combining elite-level coaching with high-quality education, we are creating an environment where young players can develop both on and off the pitch. Our scholars will benefit from full-time training under the guidance of our UEFA A-licensed coaching staff including former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair and Kyle Hall, whilst also continuing their studies within our state-of-the-art facilities at the stadium and Red Bank.
This partnership aligns perfectly with our long-term vision for Radcliffe FC — investing in youth, fostering local talent, and strengthening the foundations of our football club for years to come. We look forward to welcoming our first cohort of scholars and watching them grow into the next generation of players and professionals.
This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact this will have on both our club and the wider community.’
