Radcliffe FC are pleased to announce the signing of Marine captain Josh Wardle, who pens a one-year deal with an option at the Neuven Stadium.

The 27-year-old joins the Boro following his departure from Marine after being club captain with the Merseyside outfit for the last year, initially joining in 2022.

Josh arrives with a plethora of experience in the Northern Premier League having plied his trade for a number of clubs including Witton Albion, Lancaster City and Kendal Town, captaining multiple of those mentioned, and he’ll now look to test himself whilst donning new colours in the National League North.

Described as a towering centre back providing an aerial threat at both ends of the field, he joins Brad Roscoe and Tom Walker amongst our summer arrivals as we prepare for a new campaign in the sixth tier of english football.

A full interview with Josh will be available to view on the club’s Youtube channel in due course, stay tuned on our social media accounts for updates of its release.

Welcome to the Neuven Stadium, Josh!
