Radcliffe return to the Neuven Stadium on Saturday as they welcome newly-promoted Bedford Town with further points in their sights after a stunning display at Kidderminster Harriers last time out.
It will be the first-ever meeting between the Boro and the Eagles in the first of two back-to-back home fixtures for Bernard and Jonno’s side, which also sees Darlington visit Greater Manchester on Tuesday night.
The Opposition
Arriving in the division last summer as Champions of the Southern League Premier Central, Bedford Town won the league by only five points which was aided by their unbeaten run towards the end of the season, stretching across 12 games from the start of February to the end of April under the guidance of Lee Bircham.
The Eagles have had a tough start to life in the National League North, currently sitting in 19th and are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. Bedford have found points hard to come by on the road so far this season, coming home with the maximum amount only once in a convincing 2-0 win at Worksop Town last time out.
Ones To Watch
New signing Tyrone Marsh has hit the ground running this season, netting on nine occasions from the same amount of games. The forward joined Bedford from Boreham Wood in the summer after previous spells with the likes of Stevenage, Macclesfield and Oxford United.
Electric midfielder Ellis Brown has been a mainstay on the left-hand side for the visitors this term. The 22-year-old has collected three goals already for Bedford this season and averages a goal every 254 minutes, making him a player to keep an eye out for.
