Two goals in the final moments of the match added the icing on the cake to seal a thrilling 5-1 win on the road at Kidderminster Harriers, maintaining the Boro’s unbeaten run in the league which extends to four victories in a row.

Full of confidence after his Player of the Match display last time out, Danny Greenfield picked out a pocket of space to invite a shot from range, the midfielder let fly and the ball found the top left corner out of the reach of Christian Dibble, giving the Boro a 1-0 lead with 13 minutes on the clock.

Moments later, Radcliffe won a corner to present a chance to double their lead. Michael’s Afuye set piece created a scramble and David Ball remained composed to find the back of the net from close range, before the referee pointed towards the centre circle to confirm the Boro’s two-goal cushion.

Radcliffe’s second seemed to awake the home side and Kidderminster immediately attacked, playing a cross-field ball to Dan Mooney who found himself one-on-one on the right-hand side, his shot was parried by Mateusz Hewelt but only to the feet of Kurt Willoughby who struck into the net to halve the deficit.

The visitors didn’t let that goal break their stride and searched for a third to retake the two-goal lead. Radcliffe worked the ball down the left channel through Ball who did well to win a corner, and Greenfield’s following delivery was on the money, allowing Jordan Hulme to leap the highest and apply the finishing touch.

After 36 minutes, a fantastic ball found Foulkes on the right wing who saw his cross half cleared by Brad Roscoe, dropping to Dan Mooney who struck well on the volley and it looked to be heading into the bottom left corner, only for Hewelt to make a stunning stop down to his right to deny the home side.

Starting the half positively, Harriers worked hard to find a second and forced a corner which eventually put the final nail in the coffin on any chances of a late comeback, as Kidderminster were reduced to ten men. The ball was whipped into the area and found Emeka Obi who attempted a bicycle kick but instead caught Lois Maynard in the head, leading to the referee giving him his marching orders with a second yellow card.

With Kidderminster’s back up against the wall, Radcliffe sought after further goals and weren’t resting on their laurels as the clock ticked on. Heading towards additional time, Maynard dispatched his second goal of the campaign to all but secure maximum points. A header from Rick Smith was blocked on its travels and bounced kindly to the Saint Kitts and Nevis international who blasted the ball home for his side’s fourth of the afternoon.

Substitute Rio Clegg notched his eighth clinical finish of the season two minutes into the five minutes of added time with a simple conversion from on the goal line, slotting into the net after Dan Gardner’s corner hit the right post and fell invitingly for the club’s top goalscorer.

The referee’s full-time whistle sounded moments later, as a rampant five-star performance came to a close at the Aggborough Stadium.

Bernard and Jonno’s side are back in action in a week’s time as the Boro return home to face Bedford Town for Matchday 12 of our 2025/26 National League North season.
