We are delighted to confirm that the new Radcliffe FC Academy Scholars will be competing in the National Football Youth League from the 2025/2026 season. With our placement in the North West Championship 1, the Scholars will be competing against squads representing the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Burnley, Everton, Liverpool and Altrincham.

The Academy Scholarship is for talented Footballers upon leaving High School at 16 years of age and allows them to train full time alongside their College Education, which will also be based at the Stadium within the club’s new £2.5 million pound main stand. Scholars will submerge themselves into Football Club life working with our full-time UEFA A staff including Kyle Hall and former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair.

Radcliffe Football Club has a passion, desire and overarching strategic vision to develop the best young Footballers in the region and provide a clear pathway to the first team. At every level of the Club from Academy, Management and Ownership, the dream is to produce and develop the best young players and give them a platform into the game and up the Football pyramid.
