The former Chester attacker was the fifth summer signing ahead of Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s first season in charge, the third time that he had been signed by the duo. Dudley had made the second most appearances in a Chester shirt at the time of his departure as he featured on 170 occasions and contributed to over 70 goals, winning the Golden Boot in 2018. In his first campaign with Radcliffe, he found the back of the net 16 times, helping to secure the NPL Premier Division trophy.
