Shot-stopper Mark Halstead joined Radcliffe in the summer of 2025 on the back of a phenomenal title-winning campaign with Widnes in the NPL West Division, keeping 23 clean sheets and winning their Supporters’ Player of the Season award during that time. Hailing from Blackpool, Halstead made his league debut for his home-town club against Chelsea back in 2011 to pick up his first and only Premier League appearance, and also counts Shrewsbury Town, Morecambe and Torquay United amongst his former teams.
