Biography

The Radcliffe captain, Adams has featured regularly for the Boro over his two seasons with the side. In the previous 17, the veteran midfielder played in over 550 EFL games, from the Championship to League Two, with 374 appearances in England’s fourth tier. He is also in the top 15 for all time League Two appearances.

He captained the club to its first piece of silverware in 15 years, as he lifted the Manchester Cup in 2023. Adams has played for Bury, Northampton, Rochdale, Crawley, Carlisle, Oldham, Leicester, Rotherham, Brentford and Leyton Orient.
