Radcliffe Football Club is proud to announce a new and exciting chapter in our history as we launch an Alternative Education Provision from the football club.
This initiative represents our ongoing commitment to supporting and inspiring young people within our community — providing opportunities not only on the pitch but in the classroom and beyond.
We’re thrilled to be working alongside First Team Manager Anthony Johnson, whose passion for both football and education perfectly aligns with our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of local young people.
Through this partnership, we aim to create a positive, engaging learning environment for young people who may thrive outside of traditional education settings. By combining the values of teamwork, discipline, and ambition that define football with high-quality educational support, we’re helping to shape brighter futures.
More details about the programme can be found on our brand new website.
Together, we’re building more than a football club, we’re building futures.
‘I’m incredibly proud and excited to announce the launch of Radcliffe Alternative Education Provision in partnership with Radcliffe Football Club,’ said Anthony Johnson.
‘This initiative is all about creating opportunities for young people who need a different route to thrive — combining education, personal development, and the power of sport to re-engage, inspire, and build brighter futures.
Working alongside Radcliffe FC, we’ll be offering a supportive and dynamic environment where every learner can find their path, gain confidence, and achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
This project means a great deal to me personally, and I can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have in our community.
Here’s to new beginnings and empowering the next generation!’
