We’re thrilled to announce that the club has activated the option in Jordan Hulme’s contract, keeping him at the Neuven Stadium until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Hulme, who joined Radcliffe in the summer of 2023, added another promotion to his career tally as the Boro became Champions of the NPL Premier Division in his first season. The experienced striker converted on 25 occasions and turned provider a further 16 times, totalling an immense 41 goal contributions in 43 appearances.
The now 34-year-old’s goals created memories that’ll last a lifetime for many Boro fans during the 2023/24 campaign, a standout performance many hold in high regard came against title challengers Macclesfield, which saw him take home the match ball in a thrilling 3-2 away victory while extending the Boro’s advantage at the top of the NPL table to 8 points.
Throughout the 2024/25 campaign, Hulme once again showed his class as he finished the season with the most goals and assists in the squad, scoring 13 and providing 11 in 46 appearances. His goals often came at crucial times in matches, including a brace in the 2-1 FA Cup win against Warrington Town, a match-winning goal against Leamington and another brace in the 3-2 triumph over Hereford at the Neuven Stadium in January.
The skipper reflected on previous success and his preparations for next season when he recently spoke to the media.
Hulme, said: ‘I’m buzzing to be given the opportunity to stay with the Boro for another year! I’ve already been a part of some really special moments in my career at the club, achieving our goal of staying in the league last season and of course becoming Champions the year before, myself and the lads are hoping to build on that in the upcoming season.
I’m back in the gym already working hard to keep up my fitness and maintain the standards I’ve set myself, hopefully I can continue to find the back of the net and cause problems for opposition defenders.’
