Radcliffe FC are pleased to confirm that Matt Sargent has signed a new contract with the club until the end of the 2024/25 season, with the option of a further year.

The 22-year-old originally signed for Radcliffe following his release from Salford City last summer, and featured 27 times as the Boro became Champions of the NPL Premier Division.

With eight contributions to his name splitting evenly between goals and assists, the Welshman will now aim to play his part in our inaugural National League North campaign, a league he returns to after plying his trade for five months in a loan spell with Buxton at the start of the 2022/23 season.
