Radcliffe FC is pleased to announce a significant restructure within our player development pathway. As part of this change, the club will be disbanding the current Under-21 team and introducing a new B Team, which will take part in competitive midweek fixtures across the North West.
This move is designed to provide our talented and flourishing Under-21 players with a more challenging and physically competitive environment. By facing senior opposition on a weekly basis, our young players will be better equipped for the transition to first-team football, helping bridge the gap between youth and senior levels.
The B Team will play a vital role in accelerating player growth, ensuring that our development system continues to produce high-quality talent ready for the demands of the game at higher levels.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Brendan O’Shaughnessy and Gary Marshall for their fantastic and relentless work with the Under-21s over the last two seasons. Their dedication has not only developed excellent players but also delivered silverware during this campaign – we wish them both the very best in their next chapters.
