Radcliffe Football Club is inviting applications for the position of Women’s First Team Manager (open age). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing and ambitious team within a forward-thinking football club committed to the development of the women’s game.

Please note: This is a voluntary position. While the role is unpaid, you will receive full support from the club, access to excellent facilities, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a progressive football environment.

The role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to take charge of our Women’s First Team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the team, including training, matchday management, player development, and recruitment. This role is central to shaping the future of the women’s section at Radcliffe FC.

Key responsibilities

•  Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions.

•  Manage matchday operations including squad selection, tactics, and team talks.

•  Develop and implement a long-term vision for the women’s section in line with our club values.

•  Recruit and develop players, creating a positive and competitive team culture.

•  Work closely with club staff and volunteers to ensure alignment across all departments.

Candidate requirements

•  FA Level 2 (UEFA C) coaching qualification (minimum) or working towards it.

•  Previous experience in coaching or managing in women’s or grassroots football.

•  Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

•  A genuine passion for developing players and advancing the women’s game.

•  Enhanced DBS clearance, and valid Safeguarding and First Aid certifications.
